Solicitors Estate Agents Limited has been formed by a group of solicitors who believe that they are better placed to provide clients with the service that they require in respect of buying and selling property.

The traditional model of a separate estate agency and legal service is coming to an end as clients demand a "one stop service". Estate agents have sought to provide legal services by outsourcing this work to large firms of conveyancing providers often situated many miles from the transaction. This can often be unsatisfactory for the client as the convenience and reassurance of local personal contact is lost. Members of SEA Limited are solicitors providing an estate agency service. This is clearly a one stop solution where both the estate agency and legal services are located at the same site. This produces better communication between all parties to the transaction.
'Professional standards at reduced cost'
The client benefits from the high standards and comprehensive regulation applicable to solicitors plus the opportunity for reduced costs. The legal fees are normally included in the estate agent’s commission charge.
'Wide coverage'
SEA Limited has a number of members throughout the West Midlands which can offer reciprocal services and the opportunity to advertise properties to a wider market. There is also an SEA website to which all members can upload their properties and this is a window to the public allowing them to conduct a search for suitable properties before contacting the group member who is marketing the property they are interested in.

Members adhere to a uniform set of rules and procedures to ensure that the client receives the same excellent service no matter which member of the group is instructed. These are fully compliant with the Solicitor’s Code of Conduct and Estate Agents Act. This ensures that the client’s interests come first in every situation.
